The Brooklyn Road race scheduled to take place 23 May has moved to 7 November due to the fact that the Comrades is on the same weekend. The Brooklyn Road race will also now be called the Andrew Greyling Memorial Road race.

TENDERS FOR SUPPLY & DISTRIBUTION OF ATHLETICS ATTIRE FOR PROVINCIAL COMPETITIONS

 

Athletics Gauteng North invites tenders for the supply and distribution of athletics attire required for taking part in provincial competitions.

 

The Physical address is:

Athletics Gauteng North,
Pilditch Athletics Track,
Maltzan Street,
Pretoria West

 

Documents may be collected the above address at the compulsory site meeting at 11:00 am on Tuesday, 2 June 2009.

 

A non-refundable tender deposit of R 200.00 is payable in cash or by bank guaranteed cheque made out in favor of Athletics Gauteng North.

 

The deadline for the receipt of tender proposals is 11:00 am on Wednesday, 1 July 2009.

 

Telegraphic, Telephonic, Telex, Fax, email and late tenders will NOT be accepted.

 

Athletics Gauteng North is committed to affirmative procurement, consistent with the South African constitution , the Preferential Procurement policy Framework Act of 2000, and will give preference to individuals and such firms, which are owned and controlled by individuals of previously disadvantaged categories of South Africa.

1. Jacky Meckler will only be a 5,10 and 25km.

2. The Akasia 42,2 will Not be a Road Walking Championship.

3. New Balance on the 25th July 2009 will Not be a league race. We shall be informed.
